Braces are Uncomfortable!

Braces, Expander, and Lower Bridge Arch

Over the past few weeks, I got braces and an expander and a lower bridge arch. With my braces, I have had trouble finding soft food for my teeth. Then I got an expander. Ahhh! I think an expander and braces is very uncomfortable. Everyday I have to use a key to put in this hole in my expander.

Community Helper and Inventor

Community Helper & Inventor

Benjamin Franklin, who was a great community helper, also was an inventor. In about 1727, he opened the very first library because of his love of reading. Happily, he also opened the first fire department. He invented many things like the lighting rod, the iron stove, and the bifocal glasses. When he was 18, he became a postmaster where he was in charge of the mail. He learned that lightning has electricity. He opened the first hospital in America and founded the University in Philadelphia. Reverently, Benjamin Franklin showed kindness to his country by helping the community and inventing things to help others.
