The important Letter
I, who was just a girl, was riding my horse, Dusty as fast as I could to deliver this letter. I was delivering this letter to the president! So far I was in the forest because I had been traveling for a long time. He was very fast which made it windy. I didn't know what the letter was for but I knew it was important. Dusty had started to go fast and I fell of!
I fell into a very deep river! I had held the letter up out of the water so it wouldn't get wet. I had realized that there was a guard. Luckily he was turned around so I drifted along the river. Suddenly the guard turned around and spotted me! I swam as fast as I could trying to spot my horse. Then I saw dusty behind the blueberry bushes. I quickly jumped out of the river and saddled onto dusty.
Then I arrived at the white house. The president had been waiting for me. I gave the letter and apologized for being late. I had told him about the journey tho the white house and he told me I was very brave. He told me the letter was the Bill of Rights. I was shocked because if I lost it we would not have the freedom of lots of things! The president had told me that I get an award. I received a gold medal and I rode home. I was very pleased of my accomplishments
